Capt. Pat Snyder welcomes you to the St. Lawrence River &
Alexandria Bay located in the beautiful Thousand Islands Region!
Fish international waters while Capt. Snyder guides you to the river’s “hottest” spots aboard “The Rough Islander”, a 26′ Chris Craft.
The boat has the capacity to carry up to six people, is partially covered to help you escape the elements if necessary, and is fully equipped for comfort and safety.
A third generation fishing guide, Capt. Snyder has operated his fishing charter for the past 20 years. He is licensed and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard and is a member of the Alexandria Bay Fishing Guides Association and the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce. Capt. Snyder specializes in pike, bass, walleye and muskie fishing trips.
A-Bay Fishing Charters supplies all rods, reels and tackle for your fishing trip. At the end of a successful day of fishing your fish will be cleaned and packaged at no extra charge.
To make the most out of your trip, you’ll need to bring along appropriate clothing for the time of year, non-slip shoes, rain gear, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, camera, lunch and beverages of choice, and a cooler to take your catch home. Note: Children under 12 years of age must wear a U.S.C.G. approved PDF, while underway.
There are two daily charters. The first trip is from 8am – 3pm, and the second departs shore at 3pm and returns around dusk.
